Working Together to Fight Cancer
It takes a community-wide effort to fight cancer and create a world where those touched by it can live more productive, more satisfying lives. Care providers, research institutions and companies like CTI, service organizations, advocacy groups, donors and volunteers all are part of this community.
This community network is critical to the progress we have made toward making cancer more treatable.
Building Community
Here are some of the ways that we are helping to strengthen the cancer-fighting community. We invite you—employees, friends, patients and families—to join us in this effort.
Our Community Time Investment Benefit
Any regular, full-time employee of CTI may receive up to eight hours of paid time off per calendar year for pre-approved volunteer work. The goal of this program is to enhance our employees’ sense of social responsibility and community spirit. This is a great opportunity for employees to contribute to the quality of life where we live and work. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
Light The Night is an annual Society fundraiser. It’s the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of patients and their families. CTI employees, friends and family have participated in the Seattle walk each year since 2000 and we are proud to be a local sponsor.Find a Light the Night event near you
Gilda’s Club
We have supported Gilda's Club at the national level and locally, working with Gilda's Club Seattle. We're fortunate to have this resource in our community—where men, women and children living with cancer, along with their families and friends, join with others to build emotional and social support as a supplement to medical care.
