Description:
This position is primarily responsible for helpdesk support/administration, advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution, network planning, security, installation, maintenance, and administration of CTI LAN/MAN/WAN systems. Duties will include: Design, testing, implementation, and documentation of server and server-based application software installations and upgrades. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IP-based LAN/WAN/MANs. Maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Monitor and maintain network security systems including firewalls, IDS, and anti-virus. Install, monitor, and maintain SAN-based storage systems. Manage data backup and archiving systems. Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Offer technical support and guidance to users.
Job Requirements:
Requires 2+ years relevant experience supporting systems and network services in multi-server, multi-platform environment. BS in related field or equivalent work experience required. CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent certification required. 2000/2003 MCSA/MCSE highly desired. Experience with Linux operating systems ideal. Proficient in multi-platform, multi-server environment support. Experience with data center maintenance (racking, cabling, and labeling physical equipment). Strong knowledge of Active Directory, WINS, DHCP, DNS, and user object management. Experience with Windows Server 2000/2003/2008, Exchange 2003/2007, Windows desktop operating systems, and Microsoft Server Applications. Strong understanding of network protocol suites and end-to-end network troubleshooting/problem analysis. Experience with Cisco IOS routers, switches, and unified wireless infrastructure. Experience with Checkpoint, AVAYA, EMC, HP, Riverbed product offerings. Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule and respond to off-hours calls.
