We have 3 openings in the following territories:  Southern CA, Arizona, and Tennessee. Please indicate your territory of choice.

This position is responsible for the promotion of approved Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTI) products within a designated territory.  Focus of promotional efforts on accounts that are primarily hospital and clinic based. Utilization of superior business acumen in solving logistical and reimbursement issues while delivering an approved and impactful product specific promotional message.  Represents CTI as the primary contact for use of, training of, and service of FDA approved company products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

·         Effectively and efficiently manage a large, diverse regional territory to maximize the commercial success of CTI products selling in an account based environment calling on multiple layers of customers (hematologists oncologist and related health care, CFOs, medical directors, etc.).  Coordinates all CTI’s promotional and logistical resources utilized within account within Company Compliance Policies, regulatory and PHARMA Guidelines.

·         Responsible for sales of approved products and meeting or exceeding sales goals in designated territory.  Understands and communicates complex science concepts and pharmacoeconomic data.  Ability to positively influence perceptions about CTI promoted products.

·         Develops and implements territory business plan to support sales and marketing goals by effective territory management, customer segmentation and leveraging company resources to maximize return on investment.

·         Makes consistent sales calls on targeted accounts while maintaining, updating and profiling potential customers within CTI territory database.

·         Cultivates relationships with key physicians, opinion-leaders, administrators and appropriate personnel in assigned sales territory to maximize commercial potential of approved CTI products.  Coordinate all account programs, symposia, and other programs to supports sales and marketing objectives.  Represents CTI at national and regional conventions and societies.

·         Manages all administrative activities associated with a sales territory. This includes timely completion of expense reports and sales reporting data.

·         Extensive travel (Average of 50 to 75% of total work time) is required due to size of regional sales territories.

Job Requirements:

·         BS/BA or equivalent with a minimum of 3-5 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology or significant oncology/hematology sales is required.    

·         Valid driver’s license and ability to acquire automobile insurance per company minimum standards is also required.

·         Account management, product knowledge, selling, organization, written and oral communication, and presentation skills are required.

·         Proven sales record with strong results orientation and sense of urgency to achieve goals.

·         Candidate must exhibit the following attributes: initiative, strong business acumen, competitive spirit, work ethic, integrity, accountability and be results driven. 

·         Position requires a high energy, goal oriented individual who is accustomed to a fast paced work environment with a significant travel schedule.
